Statement Focus Review
A close reading of one personal statement or motivation letter against the criteria of a named programme, with line-level notes and a restructuring sketch.
When the rest of the dossier is still in motion, a Statement Focus Review isolates the narrative document that usually carries the most risk: the personal statement, motivation letter, or research interest essay.
You send one draft (up to 1,200 English words or the Japanese character limit you specify), the programme’s published criteria, and any hard constraints such as prompts or forbidden topics. We return annotated comments, a short restructuring sketch, and a list of claims that need evidence elsewhere in the package.
Not included: rewriting the statement from a blank page, or reviewing accompanying CVs and letters in the same fee.
